Together again – Southport’s New Floral Hotel Chooses The ‘Complete Package’ from Morfitts and Shouksmiths

Following on from its successful completion, working with Morfitts, of the Village Hotel in Warrington, Shouksmiths’ North West Division is now working with them again on the
prestigious Floral Hall Hotel project in Southport. The Hotel is part of the resort’s new Floral Hall Gardens development, which comprises a new casino, extended conference facilities and a new public Plaza.
Selected by main contractor Allenbuild North West, the Morfitts’ £1.6 million design and build M&E package is to provide services to the 133 bedroom 4 star hotel, situated on the front of this popular seaside resort. A notable element of the project is the energy efficient heating and cooling installation, which is assisted by a ground source heat pump that will contribute 80kw to the overall system.
