Fifth Village Hotel & Leisure Club Project For Morfitts Nears Completion

Morfitts is nearing completion of its fifth Village Hotel & Leisure Club project for the De Vere Hotel Group where it is carrying out the fast track building services contract at its 30 bedroom hotel extension project in Newcastle.

Working once again with main contractor Multibuild, the £350,000 contract comprises the full mechanical and electrical installation for the extension together with the provision of building services to the hotels’ ground floor meeting rooms, reception area, conference café and public toilets.  Work began onsite in July and is due for completion in October.  

Mike Quinn, Contracts Manager at main contractor Multibuild said: “This is the third time we have worked with Morfitts on a Village project and the fifth Village project they have done for the De Vere Group.  Together we have developed a very strong working relationship and knowledge of our Clients requirements, enabling us to provide the very best service possible.”

Steve Fletcher, Morfitts Divisional Director said: “We have been working with the De Vere Group since 1998 and are delighted to once again be working with Multibuild on this Village contract.  This project needs to be completed within an extremely short timescale and I am pleased to report that everything is going according to plan for the October deadline.”
