Expansion for Shouksmiths As It Acquires KEDA Plumbing in Bolton

On 31 July we completed the deal to buy KEDA Plumbing Company Limited in Bolton, which now operates as Shouksmiths' Bolton Division. The move formed part of our overall expansion strategy and gives us a permanent base in the North West.
All of the 20 staff at the company have been retained, including 15 plumbers, many of whom have been with the company since starting their apprenticeships.
John Miller, Managing Director of Shouksmiths said: “Our business plan identified that we needed to establish a permanent base in the North West and we were introduced to KEDA Plumbing at a time when the previous owners were looking to sell. What made them an attractive proposition to us was threefold - they have a very high quality and committed workforce, a healthy future workload and their corporate culture fits exactly with ours.
We are delighted that they have now become Shouksmiths' Bolton Division, and we anticipate an exciting future ahead for this region as part of the Shouksmiths Team.”
