Turner & Pritchard Rebrands To Become Shouksmiths' Gloucester Division and Announces Over £1.5 Million Of New Contracts

In June 2006 we announced that our Gloucester based division, Turner & Pritchard, officially changed its company name to Shouksmiths' Gloucester Division and that it had been successful in securing over £1.5 million worth of new contracts for the coming year.

Established in Gloucester in the 1860’s, Turner and Pritchard had been working as a sister company to Shouksmiths' York and Sheffield Divisions for over forty years, and the decision was taken to now use the same name across all three divisions in order to strengthen its market presence.

The new contracts Shouksmiths' Gloucester Division won were all from clients they have worked with before, namely Bovis Homes, Laing Homes and Lovells.  The projects comprise the design and installation of plumbing, heating and leadwork on over 300 dwellings over a total of four different sites in the South West.

Keith Hopson, Shouksmiths' Gloucester Divisional Director said: “We are certainly having a very busy time here and are delighted to be working again with our clients on these new contracts.  With regard to our new name, Turner and Pritchard has developed an excellent reputation in the local and regional area, but we are dealing increasingly with national clients who prefer to see a standardised brand image.  Taking the name ’Shouksmiths’ will help strengthen our position in what is an increasingly competitive marketplace, and will play a key part in the future development plans for the business.”
