Morfitts streamlines its service

In a drive to further enhance the productivity of its projects and the service provided to its clients, Morfitts has announced a re-organisation of its Project Teams.

Now providing one point of contact on its combined mechanical and electrical projects, the new structure will feature Project Team Leaders who will be responsible for overseeing both elements of the job, supported by their multi disciplined project teams.  The move is a direct response to the increase in demand for the delivery of combined mechanical and electrical projects, and will produce time and cost savings that will be of direct benefit to Morfitts’ clients.

To further reflect the re-organisation, the roles of Morfitts’ two existing Divisional Directors have also changed. Paul Baldwin has taken the new title of Divisional Contracts Director, responsible for the delivery of all projects from order to completion, and Steve Fletcher now becomes Divisional Operations Director, responsible for business development, estimating and support services to the contracting teams. Steve will also retain his responsibility for Morfitts maintenance services section.

Paul Baldwin, Morfitts’  Divisional Contracts Director said: “We are totally committed to continuously improving how we deliver projects to clients, and by restructuring our Teams in this way will improve the flow of communication on all our combined projects and create a much leaner way of working.”
