Shouksmiths South West Division start first contract for leading house builder Bloor Homes

Shouksmiths has started work on its first ever contract for national house builder Bloor Homes at their new development at Bourton on the Water, in the heart of the Cotswolds. The development, named Bourton Chase, features over 70 high quality two, three and four bedroom properties, designed to reflect the traditional style of village homes with a mix of Cotswold stone and rendered finishes.
Shouksmiths’ South West Division, based in Gloucester, is working on the £440,000 contract to install all the plumbing and heating services to the properties, and is also creating the detailed lead work to each window, another feature which has been added to give the houses an authentic feel.
Matt Williams, senior surveyor, Bloor Homes (Western) said: “We selected Shouksmiths Gloucester based on industry recommendation within the housing sector, local reputation and delivering good value for money. We have been impressed with Shouksmiths so far and have built up a good relationship with both site teams and the Gloucester office.
