Shouksmiths strengthens team with new appointments

Shouksmiths’ York Division has expanded its team with the appointment of John Goodall as Contracts Manager. Working closely with York Division Manager David Shouksmith and the York team, John will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects within the Division including the company’s current work on decent homes and social housing for a range of companies.
John has been involved in the building services industry since leaving school. Following completion of his plumbing/heating engineer apprenticeship, John went on to work on a wide range of projects in the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
In addition to John, David M Turner has also been appointed as Quantity Surveyor, covering both the company’s York and Sheffield Divisions. David brings to the business 22 years experience in a variety of sectors that the company operates in. In addition to being responsible for all the quantity surveying requirements, David will also be responsible for the more technical duties on contract law and contract conditions to help develop and enhance the company’s risk management systems.
