Sun & sport at our inaugural golf day

Following a torrential downpour the previous night, the sun came out for the inaugural Shouksmiths and Morfitts golf day at Rudding Park, nr. Harrogate in May this year, when over 30 customers and several members of staff enjoyed a great day, mixing a little bit of business with pleasure.
The overall winner was Rob Outhwaite from Brentwoods Engineering Services, with several other prizes going for nearest pins and longest drive. A ladies team of four started off the day, with Margaret Shann, wife of Jim Shann of GMI Construction, taking first prize.
We were delighted to have our Chairman Richard Shouksmith attend the event, where he not only played but also presented the prizes. We hope the golf day will become an annual event as an enjoyable ‘thank you’ to our customers for their business.
