Morfitts completed the £2 million M&E contract at the new ODEON Metrocentre. One of the major features involved in the 24 week project was installation of the digital IMAX® screen.
Morfitts was also responsible for the complex electrical installations of the other 11 digital and 3D screens. Another key component was the installation of the high specification building services in the foyer, auditoriums, public and back of house areas – which involved fitting full heating and cooling to each auditorium via 15 roof mounted air handling units.
