Morfitts completed the £1.5 million M&E contract at this new eight-screen multiplex ODEON Cinema, featuring the town’s first 3D screen.
The project comprised a high specification building services installation in the foyer, auditoriums and public areas along with the associated back of house areas and projection room. Heating and cooling to the individual auditoriums is provided via roof mounted direct gas fired air handling units with inbuilt chillers, with quite stringent sound ratings for both the actual auditoriums and the local surrounding areas.
