Following on from the success of its project at ODEON Wrexham, Morfitts completed the £2 million M&E contract at the new ODEON Metrocentre. One of the major features involved in the 24 week project was the installation of the digital IMAX® screen and the complex electrical installations of the other 11 digital and 3D screens. High specification building services were installed in the foyer, auditoriums, public and back of house areas, which involved fitting full heating and cooling to each auditorium via 15 roof mounted air handling units.
