Morfitts and Shouksmiths’ North West Division delivered a ‘complete package’ solution for PDR Construction in Glasgow city centre. The £1 million M&E contract was part of an overall £4 million conversion of office space in George Square into 45 city living apartments.
The mechanical element of the contract focused around the central boiler plant and incoming services which serve all 45 apartments via individual heat meters. Also new heating pipe work, radiators, hot water cylinders, plumbing and sanitary ware was fitted, plus new lighting, power and fire alarm systems within all apartments and communal areas.
