As part of a £1.25 million restoration project led by Linton Construction, Shouksmiths installed forty tonnes of lead at Allerton Castle to help restore the building to its former glory following a devastating fire. Shouksmiths assisted with the design of the roof to ensure all works were in-line with current legislation regarding lead, and to make sure special features, including gargoyles and ridge flashing looked exactly as they did before the fire.
